The Beatles albums Revolver, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and Abbey Road all owe a great debt to the engineering skills of Geoff Emerick.
He shares stories of those years in his book, Here, There, and Everywhere: My Life Recording the Music of the Beatles, and I had the pleasure of talking with Emerick and his co-author Howard Massey about them in person.
