Landlady: 2017

Adam Schatz is a musical virtuoso, adept at a number of different instruments. He's also uniquely skilled as an arranger and composer. His band, Landlady, just released a new album, The World is a Loud Place: it's the group's most accomplished work to date.

I talked with Adam about how the songs come together, the number of projects he's involved with, what he'd be doing if he weren't a musician, and lots more. Check out his super-fun live versions of "Driving in California" and "Electric Abdomen" from Studio A too.
