Primetime TV’s biggest awards show was last night, with New York-based shows taking home some big honors. HBO’s A Normal Heart filmed in New York and won “Outstanding Television Movie.” Julianna Margulies won “Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series” for her work in NYC-based The Good Wife. And NYC-based Louie C.K. won “Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series” for Louie.
New Yorker Seth Meyers hosted the event, but Big Apple series couldn’t compete with Breaking Bad and Modern Family for overall dominance.
