Second Chance at Piano in the Park

Yesterday’s planned performance of the New York Philharmonic at Van Cortlandt Park was rained out, but for those still looking for a bit of piano in the park can find it at Madison Square Park in Manhattan tonight.  Famed French jazz pianist Jacky Terrasson plays in a quartet there from 7-8:30.  Admission is free.

Scattered showers in the morning, but should be a dry and partly sunny afternoon after days of clouds and rain. 82/66[full forecast].

Big 5-3 win for the American League in baseball’s annual All-Star Game.  Derek Jeter got two hits and a re2pectful standing ovation while the Angel’s Mike Trout took home the MVP with a triple and a double.
