Multimedia Professor on Apps Users Might Turn to After Tiktok is Banned

A U.S. TikTok ban could be just days away. That has some of the nation’s 170 million users scrambling to find a replacement. Youtube Shorts and Instagram Reels may fill the void, but Chinese-based apps like Red Note and Lemon-8 may also be gaining ground. WFUV's Florinda Gjypi spoke with Chris Snider about this - he’s an avid TikTok user - And a professor at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Drake University in Iowa. Snider says TikTok’s fate remains unclear:
